Two Weeks of Sleepless nights
When Great Big Story launched Great Big Films, the brand’s first foray into the world of long-form storytelling, we went out and partnered with known filmmakers to acquire work to premiere. But we also knew we needed to make one ourselves. That’s where I came in. First, I convinced my bosses we needed to cover the world’s gnarliest sailing race, “The Race To Alaska.” Then, I convinced Spike Kane and his crew of fellow paralyzed sailors to let our crew live onboard their one-of-a-kind ship. The results were life-changing for all involved.
